1. Play the market.

In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different -Coco Chanel

During her era women wore corsets, long skirts, buttoned up blouses and plums sweating themselves in the name of fashion but mutinous chanel refused a lot of feminine styles during her times and she made pants popular for women which were unthinkable at that time she let their legs move. “I gave them back their bodies that were drenched in sweat due to fashions finer lace, cousets underclothes, padding” she said. She dared to be a rebel and take a risk. She successfully integrated menswear into her clothing line with an edge of Feminine aspect. She turned her humble beginnings into a multi-million dollar business simply because she didn’t let the dubiety of others fill within herself.

2. Don’t let your past define you.

My life didn’t please me, so I created my life. -Coco Chanel

Chanel wasn’t born with money or in a wealthy family who wore luxurious suits. like many others she was born with struggle. After the death of her mother Gabrielle Chanel was sent into an Orphan age by her father who worked as a paddler. she was orphaned at the age of six. It is not always rainbows and butterflies. allthough Chanel had every reason to be unprosperous, she refused to become a Prisoner of her past and chose to be a heroine instead. She became who she wanted to instead of what was given to her.

3. You don’t need a man.

Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman. -Coco Chanel.

Some women choose to follow a man and some choose to follow their dreams. Coco was a fashion Pioneer all without a man behind her. when she was asked by a reporter why she didn’t get married she said “I never wanted to weigh more heavily on a man than a Bird.” she sure had acquaintance with men but she have never let of man define her worth. Chanel have given the truest quote of all time “trying to be a man is a waste of woman” Anyways who needs a man when you have the whole Chanel collection to fall in love with.

4. Know your worth.

I don’t do fashion. I am fashion. -Coco Chanel

Chanel by no means is an inexpensive brand great creators always know the value of their hard work and creativity, hence they refuse to sell themselves at discounted prices. she has always enforced on dressing the women you want to become. “I don’t understand how women can leave her house without fixing herself up a little. If only out of politeness and then you never know maybe that’s the day she has a date with Destiny and it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny” she said.

One should never accept anything less than they deserve coco always took the time to present herself the best. Take the time to present yourself in the women you desire to be and your desires will eventually turn into reality.

5. Everyone needs to fail in order to succeed.

Success is most often Achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable -Coco Chanel

Majority of successful people have attained failure before becoming the most successful names. Chanel have aced the game of fashion but initially Coco tried singing when she realised that singing wasn’t going to cut it for her and she recognised her true passion and decided to open her first ever store for selling hats. If she never tried singing she wouldn’t have realised her true call. Trying on things that interest you is the road to finding your one true passion.

The brand ‘chanel’ have outlived her death and designer Karl lagerfeld had took the reins of this Legacy. Even today Coco Chanel and the story continues to inspire people.
